Jakarta Architecture Trienale 2015
The series of Jakarta Architecture Triennale (JAT) 2015 activities from October to December 2015 will be focused at Jakarta Kota railway station which also renowned as BEOS station.
The Jakarta Kota railway station is very special as it is a heritage building. This station has a high traffic every day, which reach 60 thousand people per day.
By taking the place at this station, JAT 2015 activities will not only show the consistencies of Indonesian Institute of Architect Jakarta (IAI Jakarta) to enliven the non-mall public space in every event, it will also become the real action to the revitalization effort by adaptive reuse and other creative activities.

Jakarta Architecture Triennale (JAT) is a tri-annual architecture festival since 2009, organized by Indonesian Institute of Architect Jakarta Chapter (Ikatan Arsitek Indonesia Jakarta).
This International event consists of an exhibition, talk show, workshop, movie screening and other consultant architectural activities. By the spirit of Locality, Playful and Innovation, this year’s festival focuses on digging into the potency of wisdom, culture, design, and the richness of local materials and technology in Indonesia, which potentially developed and even became the influence of future architecture development in Asia.
Hopefully, the Jakarta Architecture Triennale 2015 can be the moment to celebrate globalization which marked with the opening of ASEAN Free Trade Market.
