The objective of this project is to design a head office for a state-owned company which its line of business is on the field of airport operations. The company required a sum amount of office space, as well as directors’ office, training rooms, meeting rooms, and several supporting facilities. With limited land and building regulations, it is key to do effective space planning as well as creating a signature design. The layout and planning concept is to differ public spaces, semi-public spaces, private spaces, as well as vehicular spaces. This is key to have an effective design For the vehicular circulation, the looping system is applied to achieve functional space within a limited area. The building core is put on the front-side area to create a effective circulation and a flexible space elsewhere, and this scheme significantly give benefit for the interior spacing. The building shape and exterior design is based on aviation forms, since the owning company is on airport operations business. The shape of curvy, wings, and aerodynamics forms it put on the scheme to enhance the corporate image. The West-facing facades have variations to reduce Western sunlight into the interiors as well to reduce the exposure to neighbouring building to achieve the building setback required Solar cell on the roof
